8 Signs The Law of Attraction Is Working For You

I am sure that you have heard of the “Law of Attraction”? It suggests that by focusing on positive or negative things you can bring those things into your life. Simply put, it says like attracts like in life. It is also based upon the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from “pure energy”, and the belief that like energy attracts like energy. Research with brain imaging done by Harvard psychiatrist Dr. Srini Pillay has found that this is a real phenomenon.[1]

When you begin to focus on what you want and desire you will see the Law of Attraction is working by recognizing these 8 signs. These signs may start subtly. In fact many people miss them or mistake them as just a coincidence. Below are the 8 signs that the Law of Attraction is working for you so that you can start watching out for them.

Sign 1: Visual Prevalence

The first sign is that you will start seeing what you desire everywhere. For example, if you are focusing on getting a new car, then you will begin to see it everywhere. You will see more people driving the car that you desire on the highway. When you watch television you will start seeing ads for cars repeatedly. You will see images of what you desire in magazines and on the internet.  This is a sign that your desire is beginning to manifest itself. It also gives you the opportunity to see different options, color choices, sizes, so that you can refine your focus to be more precise about what you desire.

Sign 2: Audio Prevalence

Next you will start hearing about your desire everywhere. In the coffee shop you will hear people talking about what you desire. On the radio, advertisements related to your desire will play. It will seem like you cannot escape from what you really desire. The manifestation of your desire is getting stronger. You are beginning to hear others opinions to help you focus on how you will feel when you have manifested your desire. The “Law of Attraction” is attracting people who had similar desires or already own what you desire.

Sign 3: Touching the Desire

Now you will find yourself in situations where you can touch the object of your desire. For example, if your desire is a computer you may have a vendor come by your work offering free demonstrations of computers. It is in this stage that the Universe is giving you a chance to touch and test the object of your desire. It is asking you if you are certain of exactly what you want. At this point you can continue to reaffirm your positive thoughts or change them to a different option. “The Law of Attraction” is bringing all of the options to you to touch and test out. You can use this to focus your mental picture to help the “Law of Attraction” work for you quicker.

Sign 4: Happiness

Suddenly you will start to feel happier than normal and feel more contented. You will not be able to pinpoint the cause, but the feeling is undeniable. This is the universe comforting you and letting you know that what you desire is being manifested. At this stage many consider doing something unrelated to their design since they are confident that the universe is manifesting the object of their desire. However, I would encourage you to stay on course. Remember, “like attracts like”. If you change your focus, then the object that you seek may drift away because you no longer want it as much. Watching for signs of the “Laws of Attraction” working for you can provide valuable warnings to you of when you need to refocus your attention. If the signs begin to disappear then consider taking time to refocus on what you seek to attract.

To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but believe. – Anatole France

Sign 5: Excitement

As noted by Dr. Pillay, our brain function follows the “Law of Attraction”. As the “Law of Attraction” is working for you, your brain’s neurons react. They will fire in a way to cause excitement and anticipation similar to what you feel when you watch a high-speed car chase. Your amygdala in the brain, as shown in research, will literally light up under brain scans as the “Law of Attraction” does its work.

Sign 6: You See the Sequence “111” everywhere

This is one of the less subtle signs that the “Law of Attraction” is working for you. There are many theories for why this happens. Some suggest that this is the “Angel” number. In any case you will start seeing watches and clocks showing 11:11, you will see addresses with 111, license plates around you will have 111 in their sequence, your number on a wait list will have 111 in it, and you even may find your change at stores starts commonly being $11.10 or a similar amount with a 111 series in this. What do you do when you see this sign? All you need to do is smile and know that you are creating your own reality through the “Law of Attraction”.

Sign 7: Deeper Sleep

Soon you will find yourself more relaxed when you go to bed. You will fall asleep easier and have a deeper more dream-filled sleep. The Universe is reassuring you that the “Law of Attraction” is working and is clearing your mind of stresses so that you will be ready to receive what you desire.

Sign 8: Synchronicity Becomes Prevalent

The final sign is that you will start to find people and things that can provide the resources for what your desire to happen. The “Law of Attraction” is attracting all the resources, contacts, and events needed to make your dream a reality.

Congratulations, you are now ready to not only use the “Law of Attraction” but also to recognize the signs around you that it is indeed working for you. Let’s begin to look, listen, and reach out and touch the objects of our design as we enjoy happiness, excitement and rest, happy in the knowledge that every time we see “111” the law is working for us.

Every single second is an opportunity to change your life, because in any moment you can change the way you feel. – Rhonda Byrne

6 Things To Remember When You Think That You’re Not Good Enough

6 Things To Remember When You Think That You’re Not Good Enough

Have you ever had moments where you feel completely inadequate? Maybe a specific situation comes up and you think there is no way that you would ever be good enough to do what is needed. Or, maybe you feel that way all the time and you can’t seem to get past it.

Thinking that you are not good enough and having low self-esteem tend to go hand-in-hand, but they are slightly different.

Thankfully, you can work on both of them by changing your thinking habits and banishing some of that negative self-talk from your mindset. Whether you think you are not good enough in certain situations or you have a hard time believing that you are good enough for almost anything, it doesn’t have to be that way forever.

Let’s look at a few things you should always keep in mind when those thoughts come in, and how you can start to convince yourself of your true worth.

1. You Are Not Alone

Thinking that you are not good enough can cause a lonely existence. You might not want to put your burdens on others, so you don’t talk about it. You might also think that everyone else is perfectly happy with who they are, and are confident in everything that they do.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The reality is, you never know what other people are fully thinking/feeling. What you can count on, though, is that there are so many others who feel just like you, and are constantly wondering if they are “enough”. Knowing that you are not alone can help you to work through your feelings without feeling so isolated.

2. You Have Your Own Skills

A common reason why people tend to think they are not good enough is because they don’t have a specific talent or skill that someone else has. But you probably have something that person doesn’t, too.

Everyone has their own abilities and things that make them unique. Instead of focusing on what you don’t have, keep your mind on your talents and what makes you special.

“If you want to make a permanent change, stop focusing on the size of your problems and start focusing on the size of you!” – T. Harv Eker

3. You Can’t Be Perfect

Perfection is a fruitless thing to chase. Many people who question their self-worth do so because they are perfectionists.

But, if you set such a high standard for yourself, you will always be disappointed. Perfection doesn’t exist, and while you can strive to be your best, it is important to understand human error and limits. That doesn’t mean the things you do are some how “less” than great. But, striving for perfection is something that can make you feel inadequate.

4. You Are Worthy of Loving Yourself

Love tends to be the answer for so many things, including any pain or turmoil that you might be going through. Thinking that you are not good enough is an easy way to cause yourself sadness and pain. Those thoughts can quickly snowball and you might start to think about more negative things about yourself.

Instead of fueling those negative thoughts, choose love. Love is like a permanent band-aid for the pain that you are going through. It is a great way to comfort yourself, provide reassurance, and get a clearer picture of who you really are and all of the wonderful things that you can offer the world. By choosing self-love, you can start to see yourself in a more positive light, and push those negative thoughts away.

“We must fall in love with ourselves. I don’t like myself. I’m crazy about myself.” – Mae West

5. Mistakes Can Be a Good Thing

Do you ever find yourself feeling especially inadequate when you “fail”? While that is not uncommon, that word should really be removed from your vocabulary.

Everyone “fails” at times, because again, perfection is not attainable. When you start to consider anything less than perfection to be a failure, it is easy to beat yourself up and think that you will never amount to the things that you truly want.

But, when you start to view your failures and mistakes as good things and stepping stones, you can completely shift your perspective and realize that not only are you good enough, but you are also resilient and strong. Some of the biggest “failures” in history went on to be the most successful people because they learned from their mistakes. They looked at the things that went wrong and considered how they could change them.

It is important to use your mistakes as a way to learn and grow. When you are able to do that, you will find a greater sense of fulfillment when things finally come together and you get it “right”.

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordon

6. Gratitude Goes a Long Way

It might not always feel easy to accept and be grateful for who you are. But, it is incredibly important. Instead of thinking about the things you don’t have or areas where you are not “good enough”, choose to actively think about and pursue the positive. Focus on what you are grateful for. The more that you do that, the easier it will be to banish those thoughts of doubt and insecurity. I like to start every day by using my journal and begin by writing down three things that I am grateful for.

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” — Melody Beattie

Once you really start to think about it, you will find that you have more to be grateful for than you may have initially realized, and that way of thinking can help you to establish healthier, more positive thoughts about yourself that will last a lifetime.
